People ask me why do you write letters, read blogs , write your own, why bother, what motivates you?  The short answer is, I care. I want to see a World of mystery, beauty, splendor and riches all there ready for us to partake in. What I see  is a World of unabashed reality of hatred, ugliness, poverty and dying on a scale, that after lessons of World War II, we hoped we would never, ever see again. Fast forward and we see a wave of new breed of fanaticism that spares no Christians, Jews, Muslims, man, woman or child. In Hitler era a German Protestant Pastor Martin Niemöller in his iconic poem;

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

warned the World against apathy like the one that paved way for a war that  consumed millions of lives. Now, silence is not an option.
